چکیده
Abstract In our previous work, we have demonstrated using nonequilibrium molecular-dynamics simulations that the fluxes of helium and self-interstitial atoms in presence a thermal gradient tungsten are directed opposite to heat flux, indicating species transport is governed by Soret effect, namely, thermal-gradient-driven diffusion, characterized negative drives uphill, i.e. from cooler hot regions sample. this findings analysis been implemented cluster-dynamics code, Xolotl, which has used compute temperature profiles over spatiotemporal scales representative plasma-facing component (PFC) under typical reactor operating conditions, including extreme loads at surface characteristic plasma instabilities induce edge localized modes (ELMs). We demonstrate steady-state profiles, when properly accounting for vary significantly those where temperature-gradient-driven not accounted discuss implications such effect on response exposure tungsten. Although do yet include self-clustering or hydrogen blister formation, simulation results show substantially reduces hydrogenic retention inside PFC

The recycling of D ions impinging onto a W divertor surface is a key input parameter into the power and momentum balance at the target boundary during SOL modeling. It is described by the ratio R of the flux of recombining D2 molecules to the incident ion flux. In steady-state plasmas where the surface is in equilibrium with the incident flux R equals one due to particle conservation. However d...

15 صفحه اولEffect of ion flux on helium retention in helium-irradiated tungsten
Helium retention in irradiated tungsten leads to swelling, pore formation, sample exfoliation and embrittlement with deleterious consequences in many applications. In particular, the use of tungsten in future nuclear fusion plants is proposed due to its good refractory properties. However, serious concerns about tungsten survivability stems from the fact that it must withstand severe irradiatio...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
